How to Install and Use Unlinked on FireStick

Unlinked is a file-sharing app, which also doubles as an excellent side-loading tool for FireStick and other Android devices. It can be used to share all sorts of files including videos, photos, music, APK (App) files and more. All you need to do is obtain the Library codes from the uploader and enter it in your Unlinked app.

How to Install Unlinked on FireStick

To get unlinked installed on your FireStick, you first need to install a free program, "Downloader", (from the Amazon App Store) that allows you to download and install other programs from the Internet that are not on the Amazon store.

However, before you get started, here is one thing you need to take care of to allow installation of third-party apps on FireStick:

·         Click Settings from the home-screen of FireStick

·         Now click Device or MyFireTV (depending upon the device you are using)

         Next, select Developer Options

·         If Apps from Unknown Sources is OFF, click it and turn it ON

·         Click Turn On to confirm your intent

Get the Downloader App

Downloader is easily the most useful "sideloading" app. You can download it from the Amazon Store.

Once Downloader is installed, follow the steps below to get and install Unlinked app:

1. Run the Downloader app on FireStick

2. The home-screen will open with the Home tab preselected on the left. Go to the right and click the URL field

3. You should now see an on-screen keyboard. Enter the following URL: https://unlinked.link

Click GO when you are ready

4. Scroll down and click Download Android App.

Wait for the file to download.

5. When the Unlinked APK file is finished downloading, the Downloader app will run it and start the installation

Click Install button

6. Wait for the app to install.

7. When Unlinked is installed, you see the App Installed confirmation on the screen. Go ahead and click Done (we will Open the app later)

8. You must now see the following prompt on the Downloader window. Click Delete to delete the Unlinked APK file. (It is no longer needed)

9. Click Delete again

You have successfully installed Unlinked app on FireStick using Downloader. You can run the app from the My Apps & Channels section.

The frst time you start Unlinked you will need to add a Library code. Click the Add button or the '+" symbol to add a code.

Once the program starts, Enter in the numerical code F6582D05 and click OK.

You will see a 'Media' Library/Folder. Click it and you should now see a list of Apps.
Click each App to Download them. Once downloaded, click the app again to Install it.
